Intellectual Property

Our Industrial and Intellectual Property staff advises domestic and foreign clients in the following activities:

• Implementation and negotiation of license agreements and contracts regarding intellectual and industrial property rights, including orientation on the licensing and assignment of brands, patents, and others; negotiation, analysis, preparation, and registration of technology transfer contracts

• Registration of brands, patents, and industrial designs: research of registration feasibility and opposition, preparation of registration applications, creation of extrajudicial notices, and administrative appeals

• Franchise: analysis, preparation, negotiation, and registration of franchise contracts

• Copyright: analysis of infractions along with judicial and extrajudicial strategy to exercise rights or defenses in litigations involving this matter; drawing up image and sound license contracts

• Consultation on protection against acts of unfair competition related not only to intellectual and industrial property rights, but also to domain and corporate names
