The firm of Cerqueira Leite Advogados Associados has a specific department for foreign legal consultation in Brazil and abroad, which performs services including orientation on Brazilian visas and the legalization process for foreigners intending to work in Brazil as managers/administrators of Brazilian companies, as temporary workers (with or without labor relationships), or as foreign investors.

Our services include:

• Requesting and preparing of all documents required for visa applications, including consultation on investment in Brazil and the drawing up and registering of minutes (required for permanent visas)

• Applications protocol, including the meeting of requirements and filing of appeals to the final decision

• Assistance in the remittance of capital to Brazil; in the opening and approval of balance sheets and business records; and in the acquiring of visas for investors (whether for individuals or corporations)

• Assisting foreigners in registering with the Federal Police, acquiring a CPF [Individual Taxpayer's Registry], opening bank accounts, acquiring work cards and other documents required for their regular establishment in Brazil

• Applying for visa extensions before the Ministry of Justice
